Soi 7 and 8 Area Walking Tour

This walking tour takes in Soi 7 and Soi 8. It also covers the areas on Beach Road and Second Road near the ends of these two sois and between them. Soi 7 is the first soi to the south of Central Pattaya Road and Soi 8 is the next South. There are two small sois joining Soi 7 to Central Road and one soi joining Soi 7 and Soi 8. There is also a small L-shaped soi between Soi 8 and Beach road. This tour cover there small sois too.

Soi 7 and 8 contain many beer bar complexs and a few gogo bars. The character of both Soi 7 and Soi 8 is very similar. Most of the action takes place in small beer bars. There are a couple of larger bars on Soi 7. Also a number of air-conditioned bars have been opened in the area. This type of bar are a new addition to the area. Both Soi 7 and Soi 8 have some gogo bars. There are also a number of good restaurants in the area, mostly on Soi 7.

The Soi 7 and 8 area is a must do during a visit to the area. The area has it's own character that ahould not be missed. A good night out in the area can consist of a meal at one of the areas followed by a visit to some of the beer bar complexes as well as the larger bars such as Anna Jet or Amazing Paradise. If you are a bit warm you can try one of the few air-conditioned bars in the area or gogo bars. There is a bit of variety to try in the area.

This Soi 7 and 8 area is easy to get to and find. You can catch a motorbike taxi if you want to risk it or get on a baht bus on Second Road. Watch out for a blue sign advertising Ceasar's Palace and get off near there. If you get to the traffic lights you have gone a little too far.

The map below shows the general location of the Soi 7 and 8 area and also a map the route of the tour. The tour starts on Beach Road near the corner of Soi 8 before entering Soi 7 and onto Second Road. It then goes back to the junction of Soi 8 and Beach Road. The reason for this is to keep the sun behind the camera to make the photography easier and the results better. At the end of Soi 8 the tour continues onto Second Road.
